Letters and greeting cards written by Nannie Escola to Richard Tooker beginning in April 1961. Letters describe the town and coast of Mendocino at that time as well as historical events and people that were residing in the area. Nannie and Richard shared a love of ships and sailing and there was much written back and forth between the two on this subject.
These letters were donated to Mendocino Historical Research by Richard Tooker at the request of Dorothy Bear and Beth Stebbins. Included in this collection is a letter to Megan Coddington describing this gift.
