Summary The music scene we have today didn't always exist. There wasn't always a Music Festival, a Symphony of the Redwoods, chamber music groups or choral groups. What existed were individual musicians who wanted to find others with whom to play and sing. This Sunday Afternoon is a program of the history of the classical music scene in Mendocino in the 1970's and 1980's. Musical groups performing include the vocal group, Electica, madrigal singers, Marenzio and William Byrd, a recorder trio with Jane Dutton, Pat Scott and Olyn Garfield, cellists Marcia Sloane and Tony Miksak, Barbara Faulkner playing piano and a clarinet and flute duet with Eric Van Dyke and Lisa Buringrud.
This Sunday Afternoon With talk was given on April 26, 2013 at the Kelley House.
