Mary Murray was born in a small town in Nova Scotia. In 1927, Mary, along her siblings and her parents, moved to Mendocino. Her father worked as a pile driver on Big River booms and the family lived in Boyle's Camp. For a time, Mary and her family lived in the "green House" on Ukiah Street. In this Sunday Afternoon With program, nephew Lance Johansen, assists Mary with her memories of living in this time in local history.
