Lifetime coastal resident, Alice Piccolotti Ivec, is the youngest child of the six boys and two girls born to Pete and Rosa Piccolotti who came to Italy in the early 1900's. In this presentation, Alice tells her lively stories of a childhood spent raising and selling vegetables, fording the river and walking miles to get to school. Alice lived an outdoor country life on the family ranch fourteen miles up Big River.
This is the fifth in a series of local history conversations taking place on the 4th Sunday of each month at the Kelley House. Event occurred July 25, 2006.
