It took Denise Stenberg, Director of Fort Bragg's Guest House Museum, thirty years to gather the stories of the long gone lumber mill town of Glen Blair. This town was where her mother was born and where her family once owned the Big Orchard planted at the turn of the century. Her grandparents settled at Glen Blair in 1888 and Stenberg family members still live in the area.
In this Sunday Afternoon With at the Kelley House, Denise and her son, Mike, share stories of the logging community from the early 1880's until just before the Great Depression in 1928.
Hosted by Kris Smith and filmed by Julia Larke.
