Accident at the Mendocino Racetrack. Car No. 5 was left without a left front wheel.
The Fair Association voted to build an automotive racetrack in 1921. It was a one mile oval, located on Heeser's Ranch. The track was in the same area where the first airplane landed two years earlier.
