|Description||Ah Sing and his daughter. He was listed in the 1880 census as "fisherman", 39 years of age, native of Waupoo (Wanpoo?), wife Troy He, 35 years of age; daughter Way Um, age 7. An item in the Beacon of 1908 states, "At Mendocino, August 19th, to the wife of Sing, the Point Chinese cook, a son". It was known also that he had one other child, Joe Chow, born about 1910.|
